1. How did you get involved into dance music?
My Dad was a big Techno and Acid House head and he helped run a local independent record shop, so whilst I was still at school I ended up doing my work experience there. Then I got into cheesey House tracks and ended up doing the school disco.

2. Does your girlfriend/wife hate your music?
Grete, my girlfriend, doesn’t hate my music, in fact she quite likes some of it (so she tells me), but she does get annoyed when my friends and I talk about records all the time. I can totally understand though. Sometimes I can train spot for hours!

3. How many records do you buy and receive per month?
It varies, but at the moment I’m getting more than ever through the post. But it’s far more important to buy records as there’s so many good independent labels that don’t send out promos. Basically the best records are the ones you buy. Also I get given a lot of CDs in the various clubs that I go to around the world and there are sometimes some hidden gems on those too.

4. Can you still dance?
Could I ever? Hah ha! I have this bouncing thing going on at the moment, if that’s dancing, then yes. Some would say otherwise.

5. What's the coolest thing/quote you have ever heard about yourself?
Hmmmm. A tough one. Sasha called me the don once in a magazine, that meant quite a lot to me. Although I’m not the don of anything really. It is just what I do I guess.

6. There are millions of bedroom DJ's over the world. What's your specific quality that lets you surpass that level?
You’re right, there are and a lot of them are quite good too. In answer to your question I think it’s a combination of having a different style and not trying to be the next Sasha, Digweed or anyone for that matter. I have a strict educate but entertain policy when I DJ. It's important that you’re there to make people have a good time and get them to dance of course. I think that answers your question in a round about way. It’s nothing specific, like I said, a combination of things.

7. What are your goals for the next 12 months?
Just to keep on doing what I love doing. I’m having the time of my life right now and just want to keep it going for as long as I can.

8. What car do you drive and why?
I don’t. I’m too lazy for that!

9. Did you get into DJing/producing for the sex, drugs, beats and money or are you just too lazy to do a regular job?
Too Lazy! Ha ha! No, it was purely a love for music. I have a steady girlfriend and I don’t do drugs of any sort (not even a headache tablet unless I’m really in pain). As for money, well I didn’t have any of that either until recently. Now my accounts on the plus side rather than the minus. It’s a new thing to me. I’ve just bought a new mixer so most of the money gets spent on the music or the aforementioned girlfriend of course. I hope she doesn’t read this. Gulp.
